The only organization dedicated solely to helping state boards advance equity and excellence in public education.

NASBE member state board chairs, please make your appointments to the GAC and PEP committees. These committees are vital to the work of NASBE and require only minimal time from those involved—typically a Zoom call every month. GAC receives updates on federal education issues and weighs in on developments important to NASBE. PEP tees up corporate position statements for final approval at the annual Delegate Assembly; the latest positions update was October 2021.

The board has a goal of having all NASBE member states represented on these two important committees. If you’ve not already done so, please send the names of your state representatives to NASBE’s Joseph Hedger.
