NASBE Welcomes Dr. Miguel Cardona as New U.S. Secretary of Education


Alexandria, VA – NASBE President and CEO issued the following statement on Dr. Miguel Cardona’s confirmation as U.S. Secretary of Education.

 

The National Association of State Boards of Education (NASBE) congratulates Dr. Miguel Cardona on his confirmation as the 12th United States Secretary of Education. State boards of education across the country are eager to partner with Secretary Cardona in serving the students of our country and strengthening public education systems so students of all backgrounds and circumstances are prepared to succeed in school, work, and life. We look forward to engaging Secretary Cardona in an exchange of informed ideas to advance our common goals of excellence and equity for all students. Welcome aboard, Secretary Cardona!
