Technology Use and Student Brain Development (April 25, 2012)

NASBE held a webinar on Wednesday, April 25 titled “Technology Use and Brain Development” as a part of the 2012 Study Group on the role of technology in schools and communities.

Our speaker was Dr. Larry Rosen, a professor at California State University, Dominguez Hills, who specializes in research about the psychology behind technology use.  He recently released a book titled iDisorder: Understand Our Obsession with Technology and Overcoming Its Hold on Us. He presented about the ways that the brain is impacted by student technology use.  Visit his website to learn more about his work: http://drlarryrosen.com/.
