The only organization dedicated solely to helping state boards advance equity and excellence in public education.

We are excited to announce that we have opened registration for NASBE’s 2022 Legislative Conference! After nearly two years of “learning together, apart,” as NASBE immediate past chair Byron Ernest has often said, we will be learning together, in person this year. Join us in Washington, DC, March 27–29, as we hear from national experts, education leaders, and federal officials on topics that are front and center for state boards: envisioning education post-pandemic; innovating with accountability and assessment; supporting educators as drivers of excellence; and creating powerful connections between academics, careers, and the workplace. Learn more about the program for Legislative Conference 2022 and register today!

We know many of you may be hesitant about traveling and coming to our in-person conference. Please know your well-being is our top priority, and we are dedicated to ensuring that our members, speakers, and guests have a safe environment at the conference. We will be complying with the health and safety requirements of Washington, DC, which include universal mask wearing, proof of vaccination, and social distancing.
