With Equity in Mind, Districts Address State Budget Cuts


NASBE President and CEO Robert Hull sat down with the The Wallace Foundation to discuss budget shortfalls due to the pandemic and how state leaders are meeting the challenges ahead.

“First and foremost, leadership matters,” says Hull. “For pandemic response, states are in the driver’s seat. On budget, we see states making cuts, but they’re trying to do so in a very evidence-based way.”
