This webinar is now on-demand! Watch the full event here.

Asthma attacks, concussions, and sudden cardiac arrest are just some of the school health emergencies that can occur during in-school and after-school physical activity, sports, and recreation. Coordinated school training, preparation, and response policies are necessary to protect students and save lives during these events.

Join NASBE November 18 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm (EDT) for a presentation by the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) on information and strategies to prevent and manage school health emergencies, as well as a presentation by Medtronic and the Minnesota State High School League about their “Anyone Can Save a Life” program, an emergency action program that empowers coaches, staff, and students to respond to health emergencies at after-school practices and events. Shirley Schantz, Director of Education at NASN, Joan Mellor, Program Manager at Medtronics Philanthropy, and Jody Redmon, Associate Director of the Minnesota State High School League, are the featured presenters.
