NASBE President on Florida Tragedy

Alexandria, VA – NASBE President and CEO Kristen Amundson today made this statement on the tragic high school shooting that occurred in Parkland, Florida, yesterday:

“The shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in South Florida yesterday is a devastating event for which we all mourn. NASBE members echo the sentiment shared by many: We must do more to keep our children safe.” 

NASBE is the only national organization giving voice and adding value to the nation’s state boards of education.
