NEBRASKA TEACHERS, EDUCATORS WORKTO DEVELOP NEW STATE READING TESTS

Reading teachers and educators from across Nebraska continued their work this week in Lincoln writing new test items for the state’s first reading test.
For some teachers, the work has been ongoing since March when they first sat down to write passages for the reading test. Beth Funkey of Doniphan-Trumbull Public Schools and Kristi Larson of Lincoln Public Schools have been huddling together with their colleagues from across the state since March initially writing reading passages and now test items or questions based on those passages.  More
