AGENDA

Objectives

  • To report on and evaluate state team implementation of their policy action plans developed at the October 2007 Policy Symposium on Healthy Eating;
  • To review the latest research and best practices in childhood obesity prevention, with emphasis on physical education and activity;
  • To understand, recognize, and address the needs and concerns of vulnerable populations; and
  • To revise, update, and expand the scope of the state team action plans to include physical education/activity and vulnerable populations.
