The goal of the Increasing Healthy Eating project is to increase awareness, motivation, and capacity among education leaders about the issues surrounding healthy eating in schools. The Center for Safe and Healthy Schools, to that end, firmly believes in building partnerships between state boards of education and other stakeholders to create new or improved policies and programs. Through this work, we hope to create healthy school environments and high quality nutritional education in the nation's schools, resulting in healthier student eating behaviors that will last a lifetime.
