The State Education Policy Clearinghouse provides members with timely information on emerging issues in education, focusing specifically on state policy initiatives. Clearinghouse information is available to members through the NASBE toll-free number, the NASBE website, and through information on board structures and state education governance.

For a quick-read on the issues, Policy Updates are regularly disseminated to members, are available on NASBE’s website, or are available upon request from the Clearinghouse. Each two-page Policy Update provides an overview of the issue, its policy implications, a description of how selected states around the country are addressing the issue, and a reference list of materials for further exploration.
